Helvetia recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information it acquires and of complying with personal information-protecting laws, including the Personal Information Protection Law, as well as such laws’ objectives. In order to protect personal information, Helvetia takes the steps described below.

1. Helvetia handles personal information in the course of business. As an entity that handles personal information as prescribed in the Personal Information Protection Law, Helvetia recognizes the importance of protecting said personal information in accordance with said law and other laws that protect personal information, and will protect the personal information that it acquires, uses, and manages.
2. When Helvetia handles personal information in the course of business, it will observe all laws and regulations that protect personal information, including the Personal Information Protection Law.
3. Helvetia will use personal information exclusively for its business purposes, and will not use said information for any other purpose unless specified by law or regulation.
4. Unless specified by law, Helvetia will not provide personal information to third parties.
5. If a request for disclosure of personal information is made by the principal (said person) himself or herself, Helvetia will handle that request in accordance with the laws and regulations that protect personal information.
6. Helvetia will establish internal rules for protecting personal information, ensure that the company’s directors and employees observe said rules, and provide related education and training.
7. Helvetia will strive to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of its use.
